Honors and Certifications
Honor cords
CREATE is providing students with an opportunity to receive a scholarly merit-based honor cord.
Student mentors and guides who fulfill the requirements will receive a blue, orange, and silver cord for their graduation ceremony and will be recognized as STEM Leaders, thereby broadening CREATE's impact beyond the academic setting.
- The blue, recognizes academic success and represents the academic research the student was engaged in,
- The silver, recognizes volunteer and community engagement, and represents the service towards STEM awareness,
- The orange, recognizes achievement in engineering and STEM, and represents achievement of leadership, mentorship, and dedication to STEM disciplines.
Certifications
Coursera Career Academy
Faculty and staff may pursue Coursera Career Academy certificates at no cost to them. These certificates complement many areas of study and provide skills useful in a variety of disciplines.
Six Sigma
CREATE is providing the Undergraduate Research Assistants the opportunity to obtain a Six Sigma certification. These certifications serve as useful leadership and career enhancing opportunities.
Micro credentials
CREATE is pursuing the implementation of "Industry Communications and Leadership" Microcredential and other microcredentials such as Student Driven Undergraduate Research as well.
